Poetry from Buildings and Grounds

An excerpt from Al’s Buildings and Grounds report:

From the yellow shrub rose at the back corner of the lane, just beyond a simple rustic bench, there is a straight line to the meeting house door – but in reality it is a way, a path, past a tangle of ivy, blackberry and bedstraw  gripping flowers that telegraph a geometry from a past time when the cosmos had a different configuration…
yet peace is retained here, so that there can be healing, and the outside world wonders for a moment just before the light turns green.
